Perla is a super soft, fuzzy, warm, cozy and fun wrap to knit and to snuggle up in. Living in Minnesota as I do, I’m always in search of an accessory that isn’t just functional. So, I designed Perla with pure comfort and relaxation in mind, with the added benefit of warmth. The yarns, while a bulky weight, feel surprisingly light and yet warm. I added accent rows of little buds for a bit of whimsy (and who doesn’t need that when the weather turns cold?), along with optional buttons on each end of the wrap because, well, buttons! Wearing Perla might just be the thing to finding your happy place.

Chamarel is a scarf featuring a kaleidoscope of stunning colors, inspired by the Seven Colored Earths. By combining three gradient shades of Creative Melange Chunky in a slip stitch pattern, the result is just as wondrous as its namesake location. This artful accessory is sure to make a statement on the dreary, cold days of winter!

The North Shore Cowl is a beautifully textured cowl knit in super bulky Be Wool Multis. This quick project is soft, springy, and features splashes of gorgeous color. The purled “bow tie” effect is created with deceptively simple Long Stitches. This stitch also gives the edges of the cowl an undulating effect, mimicking the flow of cool ocean waters kissing the shore.

MC Escher's mathematical artwork, Relativity, depicts steps ascending and descending in all directions, defying not only normal laws of gravity but logic. The zigzag stitch used in this pattern is a way to echo Escher's famous artwork.
Worked in the round, the Zig Your Zag Cowl utilizes two contrasting colors to create visual interest and movement, while the slip stitches that shift placement every two rows adds loads of texture.
